Tonights blog won't be very long. Not a whole lot going on here except for both Ronnie and I working lots of hours. Only gonna get worse since we had a lady quit yesterday so the next few weeks I will be working a lot.
However, we did manage to go to the circus on Wednesday night and the boys really enjoyed it as did I. My favorite part was the tigers. They are such beautiful animals.
Also around here we have a lot of snakes. I am terrified of them. We caught a couple that Ronnie took to release out of town. We have a den of them in the backyard. I am not too crazy about this. I'm hoping they decide to move away. Unlikely but one can always hope.
Getting ready for bed now as I work early once again tomorrow. Worked over 12 hours yesterday and work ten today starting at 5 am. Will be happy when I get a day off. Goodnight.

Start of another week
Well, its hard to believe that it is already April 3rd. We were planning on going to Rochester this week for the boys but will have to reschedule their appointments as money is kind of tight and gas is expensive.
Also this week the Shrine Circus is coming to town. The boys are excited to go. We just have to figure out what day we are gonna go as both Ronnie and I work all the days it is here. We also have to figure out if we are gonna do something for Isaac's birthday. He turns 7 on April 11th. Ronnie and I also have an anniversary coming up on April 18th and we would like to take a little mini vacation. We will have to see.
Today it is very windy outside so the boys are busy playing in the basement. I am trying to get laundry done and Ronnie is getting ready to go to work. Hope today finds everybody in good spirits.

March is almost over!
It is so hard to believe that there is only one more day of March left. I am just not very excited about all the snow and water everywhere. The sump pump has already been running quite a bit already.
Today work was really busy. I was kind of hoping for a nice day like yesterday. We haven't had too many of those. There is still a lot of influenza going around. Luckiky all three boys already had influenza B this year and none of them got real bad. Mason was probably the worst but they are all doing ok now. Somehow Ronnie and I managed not to get it. Ronnie did manage to get strep throat last week. He is usually never sick.
Other then that Isaac had school today and Avery and Mason had daycare as Ronnie and I both worked. Just getting them ready for bed and I'm sure I will be in my bed soon too. Five o'clock in the morning comes too quickly some mornings. Glad that tomorrow is my last day this week.
Goodnight.

More happenings
Just realized that it had been almost a year since I had blogged last. Since it has been that long I can tell more of what happened.
On July 29th we almost lost Mason. During the nice days of summer we would take the boys fishing. They enjoyed this as we did. Got to spend quality time with the family. On this particular day we were out at Richmond Lake fishing at one of Ronnie's coworkers cabins. The guy who was renting the place offered to take the boys on paddleboat rides. He had them all get life jackets on. I didn't realize that if a life jacket is too big it can be a bad thing. Avery and Mason had already had their rides. While Isaac was on the paddleboat the two little ones were way up by the cabin playing. Ronnie and I had just turned our heads away for a second when Avery yelled "Mason where are you?". Our heads snapped real fast. Avery pointed toward the water when Ronnie asked what he meant by where Mason is. Ronnie took off and is much faster then I am so he got there first. I saw Ronnie jump in the water out of the corner of my eye and by the time I got there he was carrying a motionless Mason.
This was one of the scariest moments in my life. He was not moving and foam was by his nose and mouth. I ran to get my phone to call 911. Ronnie staryed CPR and I almsot lost it when I heard his voice crack while telling Mason to breathe. It was hard talking to the operator and staying calm. We didn't know the address there. It took a long time which seemed like an enternity until we heard the ambulance sirens. We then realized they were on the wrong side of the lake. At this point a neighbor came out and I gave him my phone to tell the operator where they need to go. It was a great sight when the ambulance guys came around the corner. The helicopter had just landed.
It was a good thing Ronnie knew CPR as did I or Mason wouldn't be here today. He was taken to the hospital and kept overnight for observation. Ronnie only had to do CPR for about 30 seconds. Mason had started to breathe at that point and threw up the water he had swallowed.
Needless to say, we are going to be putting the boys in swim lessons this year as none of them know how to swim. Also, they are not gonna be allowed to go fishing until we have bought them life jackets that fit. I had nightmares for a long time but am glad that God was there watching out for him and us. It could have so much worse. We make sure to say our prayers every day and thank God for all of our blessings.

Been a long time
It has been a long time since I have blogged. I aplogize. We no longer have cable and internet. Have turned it off to save money and to keep the kids from watching tv all the time.
The school year is almost over. Isaac had great reports from his teacher at conferences and will be moving to the second grade. Avery has gotten all his school shots and is already registered. He will be starting in the fall. I will then just have Mason who will start the next year. Not sure where all the time has gone.
Since I have blogged last Isaac and Avery have participated in youth wrestling. Both boys had a great season. They both made it to regionals. Isaac did not place but had a very tough division to wrestle in. Avery wreslted very well and placed 4th. He missed making state by one place. Next year should be a good year. All three boys will probably be wrestling. My father seemed to enjoy watching the boys wrestle and was fortunate enough to watch them wrestle at regions since it was in Aberdeen. Next year state will be in Aberdeen so I hope the boys make it that far.
Ronnie and I have both been working a lot of hours. Ronnie is an assistan manager at Max & Erma's and puts in a lot of hours. Usually 50 plus. I have been working a lot as we have two people out with injuries. I could probably work everyday if I wanted to.
Ronnie and I will be going up to Rochester next week as the two older boys have appointments with a pediatric oncologist. Hopefully everything goes well and we have good weather for traveling. We also would like to take a mini vacation for our anniversary but will have to wait and see.
In May the boys have their concerts at school and daycare so that should be fun. They so like to sing. I will try to post more later to catch everyone up.
